The perfect way to explore Amsterdam through the eye of a lense ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would definitely advise anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Amsterdam to take a private professional photo tour with Wouter from Aperture Tours. It is such a wonderful way to explore the city and take pieces of that journey back with you. Our photographer, Wouter did an amazing job teaching my family how to take really great photos of the city by seeing it through the eyes of the lens. He also was very patient and taught us some basic techniques to use when using manual mode on our cameras. Wouter was extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun to talk to. Our 3 hour photo tour seemed to fly by so fast. I was sad when it was over. We made a friend in Amsterdam and now have some lovely photos share with friends and family back home.

Why didn’t we think of this before? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are just getting into Photography, but always take our cameras on holiday. As Photographers we will not give up our day job as tourists. Our experience with Wouter was so enjoyable and we had photos and lessons to take away that have really improved our confidence. This is way better than a red light tour. The night session was amazing.

They say a picture can tell a thousand words and we learnt in just 3 hours how to tell a better story and give ourselves better memories at the same time.We went out the next night ourselves and applied our learnings while enjoying the Amsterdam nightlife. When you are looking for things to do in Amsterdam and the top 5 come up; go a little deeper and be creative. You get a private friendly guide, private lessons and great memories to keep forever. Fantastic value. Highly recommended.
Best wishes Wouter.
I have no doubt your photography journey will be a successful one.

Had a great time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A photo tour is both a nice way to get to know and see a city, especially when you don't have much time and don't want to wander about randomly, as well as an opportunity to be directed to the iconic photo shots in the area. I was pleased to have Wouter as a guide. He is a professional photographer, and he couldn't have been more accommodating as to making sure I got what I wanted out of the tour. This was my second Aperture Tour (first one in Paris) and I'll be back again as I make my way through the world's cities!

Discovering new places and new techniques ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've owned a DSLR camera for almost 10 years but didn't really know how to handle it. I would simply use the auto settings, that was good enough for me. Going on this tour through Amsterdam was a true mind opener.

Wouter and I met at Amsterdam Central Station and got right into my camera. The first part of the tour was him asking me questions. He asked me about what I already knew about my camera and lenses, and what I wanted with my camera. We then went over a short presentation explaining the basics; aperture, ISO, and depth of field. To be honest, at that point it was still dazzling to me but it would soon become clear.

We hit the town and made some practice shots. Wouter then explained and showed me how adjusting the settings, resulted in totally different photos. It took me a bit to get used to, but eventually, I learned. Wouter was a great host, patient and extremely knowledgeable.

Meanwhile, we walked around Amsterdam. Amsterdam was my hometown for 2 years, so I knew a bit already, but he still showed me some great spots for beautiful photos.

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn a bit more about their camera and photography in general. What's better than to explore a city with an expert making your own beautiful photos to show off back home?
